Will Moving to NoVA Affect my Car Situation
I'm thinking about moving to the Stafford area: https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/mid-...ng-taking.html
And am a bit worried about what that will mean WRT to my cars.
I'm not worried about my wife's 2009 Subaru.
I'm not that worried about my '04 cummins ram- well, do they have any crazy rules about big tires on trucks? I have 36x12.5's on it, but they almost tuck in and nothing weird done to the truck to fit?.
I don't know if I should be worried about my '97 WS6- it really doesn't have anything weird done to it, but it seems like cars like this always get too much attention, it is lowered quite a bit
I am worried about my 2 87 Birds, a TA and a Formula- both registered as historic, the Formula doesn't run and is mostly a parts car, the TA does run but will never pass emissions (neither would for that matter). The reason that they're registered as historic is that in MD you just fill out the paperwork, no safety or emissions inspection... Will these be a problem?
I'm also worried about my '71 Mach 1 Mustang- I just got it running, currently has AZ tags on it, it would never pass a safety inspection as it stands, but would like to get it tagged so I don't have issues with parking it on my property (at least in MD you have to have tags on everything exposed in your property, and are only allowed one unregistered car and it has to be inside somewhere), and would like to be able to drive it to figure out what it needs and get some idea where to go next. Things like the lights don't work on it now (a lot of electrical problems that I'm just not going to fix quickly)...
Suggestions/hints/warnings?
