Yes, welcome!!

There are quite a few people on here from michigan, though a lot of them do not post all the time.

There is sure to be some gatherings in the spring!

caught looking at internet **** were you...jk.

well, your definately going to have a problem then seeing as our most central location tends to be woodward.

kind of hard convincing so many people to drive further west for only a couple as apposed to the other way around!

check out camaro superfest as that is the biggest gathering of the year typically and a few of us in here try to have as many as possible during the cruising months.

keep an eye out on the boards when spring rolls around......no point in discussing it now as most forget when it comes.

you want info check out www.camarosuperfest.com that's the largest one in michigan. there use to be streetnationals which comes and goes depending on funds. there is one in ohio that isn't to far as well as one held at niagra falls.

at least one big show every month.

sicko, but yah that sounds pretty killer, i would definatly want to go to this superfest, have any dates planned yet? prolly not till spring right? seens how michigan weather sucks, but that would be bad to get a crap load of people from michigan out to ann arbor to show off their nice thirdgenz, cuz around here my car is like the only one that is in mint shape that i know about, and ive pretty much seen ever thirdgen around here

your not zero cool by anychance are you..................?

well i got rid of the pic, just messing with you.

yeah, the superfest is typically the first weekend in july. normally it's for camaros only during show hours; i'm trying to change that. at least with thirdgens anyway.

my plan is to get any thirdgen i can to gather after the normal show for our own. there's plenty of things to do as well afterwards.

show runs fri-sun....people usually start showing up on thursday or bright and early friday for the cruise.

check out the site; you'll get the idea.

If anyone gets any dates for gatherings or anything email me at pskel21@hotmail.com or my AOL screen name is pskel350 if you want to chat. anyone needs parts from michigan let me know as i'm going down one last time this week for my own venture. i'd be happy to pick some things up if they have what you want for a little extra mod money.

make a list and let me know...... have 3 ta 350, 1 305, 1 v6, and i think a 4 cyliner as well as 1 92 z 350, a couple irocs, 2 or 3 rs models, and 1 berlinetta.

there are no engines in them though so don't ask for that or gfx as well as all but one are sitting on the frame.

other than that though there are alot of good interior peices as well as exterior like doors, hoods, hatch glass, lights, etc. and all the other goodies under the hood.

salt bad for camaro, salt really bad, didnt yo momma ever tell you that lol seriously though that is why thirdgens have such a bad reputation is because most of their owners wont or cant store them in the winter. hey roxie what ever happened to you? i thought we were gonna party? guess im not good enough for you huh

i've never heard of the plate, it's also quite far from me though so...

as far as salt, it sure is a pita isn't it. after two years of driving it through winters i couldn't bare it anymore.

salt won't hurt the car unless you let it sit...........go hit up a power wash. you let it dry on there and bake in the sun and forget about it.....

i drove mine through three winters with chrome rims and all with no problems. although i kept it clean too...it's all about the upkeep.

thankyou very much for the kind words..........it's a custom candy red. it has a silver and gold heavy metallic base , red clear, and a blue pearl.

i absolutely love it, although i'm kinda partial.....i really appreciate the compliment though.

so roxie you dare me to come over huh? well i would probably take that dare however my car goes in storage saturday morning so i dont think im gonna show up in my pos old mobil gutless
however if you dont mind 2 people showing up then ill convince my friend to bring his eagle talon that runs 11 1/4mile times hehe

anywho yes salt is horrible for cars especially if you have any exposed metal, it will rust away in no time, so everbody do us all a favor and store your cars, except for hamspice cuz he dont have winter beater! hehe just playin man, your car will be fine just wash it once a week, im out everyone have a merrry christmas you here me!!! oh yah and a great new year

Iroc57 - Ill let him know! His latest mod is airbags - he just got the front done, psht psht.. and since he body dropped it last year its like an inch lower than everybody elses hehe - and to think, the truck used to be white with custom pin stripes and no lowering or big wheels or 406 - dang that truck is fun.

89rs - nobody is gunna have their hotrod out anyways - thats like half the fun - dang. hopefully next year we'll have another party at this place in the summer - you should see the spectacle. all the uncles in their old vettes and the good ole pair of cutlass' and the ss camaro and the big duramax diesel and the S10 and even a couple fords doin burnouts and brakestands up the driveway.. just be careful not to drive into the house! but if you wanna come to the party, you have to reveal why you didnt have access to your computer, just to make sure your not a murderer or something like that.. hehehehe

blue pearl....is a type of paint or more precise a clear.

a pearl is typically a top coat between a base and a clear that can add to a paints look. like a translucent or a metallic.

you know blue pearl over a white base or gold pearl over a white like most cadillacs.....combinations are endless.

autorama is at the cobo center in downtown detroit. same place as the DETROIT autoshow.

carshows, cruising, gatherings, etc.

basically get things rolling and dates marked on the calendar for some events.
