The Cooper tires in 245/50/16 wouldn't move hardly at all yesterday in the snow we got (not their fault, they're Z speed rated and don't even carry a rating for snow). I had (3) 70 pound tubes of sand in the well and it was still crazy to try to hit the "go" pedal at any speed, let alone try to break into momentum from a stop. I added two more 60 pounders from the hardware store I slid into last night, which totals 330 pounds of added weight to this better, but still scary driver of mine.

Snapped back to a winter reality!!!

 

Nobody has any 15" rims to sell me??? I guess I'll go to the junk yard tomorrow morning then.

I've got 6 stock camaro rims (15 inch) but I live by Chicago. 25 a peice if your interested email me 4 of them are original off my Pace car( nothing special that just means they have red pinstripe around the edge.)

Thanks for checking Screamer27, but I went to Capital salvage yard and got some 15" black steel rims for $15 each early Saturday morning.

Thinking maybe some moon discs, or baby moons with trim rings instead of cheesy hubcaps... Thoughts???

 

hmm, cheesy hubcaps or moons? Leave them bare, and paint them a nice glossy black.

 

They are black right now and look like ****... I feel like I'm a high school kid driving a P.O.S. around... It's official, I hate winter! Maybe I can find some firebird lace aluminum wheels for next winter instead...
