Fresh 406 small block chevy built by R&R engines. Here's what it has new BRC forged pistons,new Eagle ESP rods, new crankshaft, Clevite H bearings. Short block is balanced, assembled, and O-ringed with a tapped valley. Also, included balancer, new flexplate, and new Cloyes timing chain. Heads are World S/R Torquer's with a nice port job and stainless steel valves and include Crane Gold 1.5 full roller rocker arms. Over 4000 invested, must sell fast asking 1800 or obo for everything. Have orginal reciepts. Motor is new and has never been used.

where are you at, what's your head cc size/compression and would you sell the short block only without the heads, let me know.

 

Heads have 67CC chambers, pistons are flat tops so it will yield just over 10 to 1 compression. I will sell the short block without the heads. But I would rather sell together and would cut a better deal on the complete setup. I am located in the Schaumburg, IL area, (near Woodfield mall) Chicago Suburb. Were are you at in Iowa? Sorry, motor sold on Saturday. From what the buyer told me I believe it is going to find a home in a Chevelle or 79 Camaro.
