I havent been able to look at it very well, but from what I can tell I need a bumper, hatch and spoiler, taillights, tail light filler panel with emblem, and probaby the stuff underneath the bumper, i cant tell what what condition the locking mechanism is, but it is most likely trash as my key wont turn it, and that is where the car hit me at. The metal around it is bent and dented in.
I may be able to pull the bumper, bumper parts, and hatch and spoiler of this parts car I have access to. I defintitly need taillights and the filler panel and emblem.
The driver 1/4 panel is slightly flared/bent, so it will have to be bent back out.
After this crash and the other one in the spring, my frame is probably weakened, I'll need SFC's I think.
Thanks,
Matt
updates
so how is everyone's winter projects coming along? almost done??
i only have 52 days left until a show....putting a car together in 52 days is bad enough, and finding time between going to school and working full time, is really hard. but none the less, the motor is ready to put back in with a fresh set of bearing, better oiling system, and some intake work
have the new ceterforce DF clutch, and almost everything else needed to finish the car up, just a few little interior parts have to be bought yet. and then assembled:lala:
the car is leaving next week for the paint shop, to fix the up close meeting i had last fall with Bambi's mom.....damn deer
so lets hear how much everyone else is getting done. summer is almost here

ha...try 3 weeks.
i still have paint, interior, and the motor to finish....not to mention half of my entertainment setup is being shipped from cali at the end of the week and my wheels won't be here from cali until mid next week either......
3 weeks to put a car together working 9-8 6 days a week is not fun.
it will be all worth it though when i'm sleeping in my chair at autorama!!

As of now the car is`still sitting. I tracked down some tail lights and I should have them in a week or so. The car should be getting towed back home this weekend. I figure 2-3 weekends to fix it. Not sure if I'm gonna get the new parts painted yet. I am not a fan of driving a multicolered car so I may have too, even if its a temporary rattle can job.

Pat: yep, i looked at it and there is no evident frame damage at all. I have a parts car that I can get the hatch and bumper from and I ordered a set of tail lights so I should be set. I just have to bend the trunk metal back into place and I should be good to go as far as the rear damage goes. I still got to get the alighnment done again, I hope its just tie rods. The cars gonna need body work though. Got a couple decent rust holes now.
Gotta have the new parts painted though, they are dark blue. I really wouldnt like driving a multicolored car.
I am definitly up for the cruise. I figure if all goes well I should have it fixed within a month. The rust will have to wait till spring break when its warmer.

Keep all this snow comin as it's building my play money account at a feverious pace!! Got my new AFR 210's in the basement, forged crank, eagle esp rods, lunati solid rollers, billet splayed main caps. Once my plow account checks get here, the new Ford 9" getting ordered-finally-35 spline Moser axles, full spool, disc brakes, 4.56 gears, TH400 with t-brake, BTE 8" soft hit convertor, Spohn crossmember/torque arm, 3" driveshaft 1350 yokes, and new 29x11.5 Hossiers. Then instead of building a motor like I thought, probably just have something built in the 406cid range since all the above mentioned is paid for already...once the checks arrive I should say. Again, bring on the snow!!! Too bad the car's gonna sit this racing season out since I plan on running the truck to #1 by the end of the '04 summer points series.

I'm with Pontiackid... Best snow season around here in the last few years! I'm going back up north again this weekend with the snowmobile & trailer in tow. No winter car projects planned this season. I will probably be putting a full tube front suspension, coil-over conversion and rack steering later some time in the year though. I also need to get all my car pics together and post 'em on a site somewhere.

cheap and quickly do not go well together pat...haven't i taught you anything.
there are a few places in the area that could do it but your during autorama rush time....if you don't have an appointment now your going to have to wait until it's over.
side note, the bay looks stunning there. i think if your a/c box was painted to match the car you'd really be moving. either way it looks really clean. keep up the good work!

I have found two places that will coat my headers for $140, and each take atleast a week or more
i havent decided what im going to about them yet.
now i just have to reroute all the wires after moving the battery to the trunk....what a mess

re-wiring the car is a PITA!!!
when moving a battery to the trunk is one ground strap on the engine enough?
this sucks since the car was supposed to be at the paintshop tomorrow
