Hot Rod Power Tour hits Davenport, IA.

Go to www.hotrod.com and click on power tour for more info. Figure I'd throw a heads up to anybody that may miss this and would like to see some bad-azz cars. Scheduled to be in Davenport, Ia. June 9th-Wednesday at the Mississippi Valley Fair Ground.

If you are coming in on 80 you want to go south on 280 and get off at the locust st. exit head east the fairgrounds are on your right about 2 miles into town. Ill come find you guys maybe a mini cruise or something. Your cars arent that hard to find. I would know them anywhere.

It looks like Flirtin is faster than me in every way!

Maybe with some convincing 355SS will get out the beast. That is if he has the new improved secret stuffed under the hood by then.

You got that right.......we have done the dream cruise the last 4 years and while woodward is a good road, getting to and from it from the hotel tears my car up, I gotta say I thought our roads were bad until we were up there. When I see people from michigan saying they can't lower there cars very much I understand!

LMAO, when we were up there with the motor home drawers were sliding open, cupboard doors were flying open, food, glasses, and othe misc items were being flung around the RV. Ever try taking a **** in a moving RV on a michigan hwy, you'd have better luck peeing into the wind of a tornado-wear a rainsuit is what I'm tellin ya or pull over and stop cause it aint pretty!! And what was really funny is paying at the toll booth for road improvement-think that's another legal scam the state has going

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's cars (especially IHI's interior). I'll be at the Davenport stop, as I'm doing Springfield thru Green Bay. Look for me in my 66 Caprice since my Fireturd is still a garage potato.

That Caprice is gonna be the cats **** once you get the OD installed
I've got alot of work to do to the beast, lots of nit picky things that nobody notices until I really point them out, but needs to be addressed none the less. Hopefully I'll get paid here before too long, hate using my real money for my toy

Maybe I'm thinking around the Chicago area is where we hit it, but regardless that road took us into paved pothole cracked up territory further north of the IL border

IHI, that's part of the reason why my daily driver is a Chevy HD2500 4x4. Actually, a few years ago the HR power tour ended in Mt. Clemens MI, and it was an absolute riot. A lot of the participants really did comment about how bad the roads were once they did hit the Michigan border. Maybe that's why they haven't been back since.

problem was 2 points...mt.clemens wanted to much money and their roads were terrible and still are terrible. most of my wear and tear comes from going through there.

they tried it again with pontiac which worked pretty well, the last time they came unfortunately it rained so attendance was low. who knows if they'll ever come back. enjoy the show, it's alot of fun.

355SS has a major dash swap going on right now. I also have never seen his ride on the road...ever. He keeps it under lock and key. I can't blame him, his car is the best example of a thirdgen I have ever laid eyes on.

I plan on making Power Tour from Davenport to Green Bay and back. Why do you think I am doing all this work? Hopefully the secret weapon can be finished in time. Have two of them sitting on engine stands..... June 9th....damn-better get to work.

I had a VISION last nite

I told everyone it was going to stay stock for driving purposes...AM I CRAZY? The plans are allready in order. If I can pull this off in time, I could LOOK good and be FAST at the same time! It is going to be a major feat if I pull it off.

Sit back and think about it. If you have figured it out post it here! Tell me if I am off my creeper or not.

The clues are evident!
