alright guys, its a shot in the dark, but here it goes......

for some reason, the shop that built my 4.10 rear end last fall put in a 2 series posi and gears. the 4.10's are to much gear for my personal tastes on the street, very hard to keep the tires planted.

any body interested in a posi 4.10 gear setup? any body want to trade me for a 3.73 posi, 3 series?
this setup has very few miles on them, less then 2k miles....

Are they 26 or 28 spline? What kind of posi is it (clutch, cone, or PowerTrax)? Does it have alloy axles? Is is completely rebuilt?

I have a 28 spline, 3 series 3:73, Gov-Loc diff, with Moser axles that is completely rebuilt. May consider trade.

If they were 28 spline I would consiter it. I need to keep the 28s.

possibly...would this work in my stock 10 bolt carrier or no? i have the gm 3.73 setup with about the same miles but my miniram is very low on torque in low end so i wouldn't mind trying the upper.

the gears will not work on your current posi Jeff, the only way it would work is if all the inside parts, including axle shafts, posi, gears, etc were taken out of mine and put in yours, and vice versa.

the 4.10's are nice, but a little hard to control sometimes with my 5 speed. they would make your engine rev a little more at high way speeds. at 75mph i am at 2500rpm's. so with your 700 it would be a little higher i do believe.....
