Yes you read the title right, i am selling my 88 bird so that i can get a 78-81 (perferably a 79 which is my dream car)...I'm the third owner of my car it is a 2.8 v6 Body has well over 150k miles, but engine is only just over 100k due to the past owner blowing an engine and putting a camaro third gen engine in. The previous owner was a teenager that didn't know how to take good care of it so i have fixed a lot over the years:

It has a new headliner, i have the rest of the new interior (seats, panels, carpet) just not installed...this will come with the car if purchased. I have replaced a idler arm, fuel pump, sending unit, battery, muffler and all the muffler pipes under the car, and wheel cylinders. Has a few small surface rust spots, and one rust hole behind the drivers back tire but that can be easily fixed. There is a small gap between the bumper and the hood due to the pervious owner putting an aftermarket bumper on the car. Body is in great shape otherwise. Also with the car i am giving the stereo thats already installed in it (mp3 cd player, amp*, and subs*), and the Lebra i had bought for it.
*note the amp and subs aren't currently hooked up.

The car runs good, just needs a new tranny soon, the interior installed, new bumper, and a good paint job; then it will be a great show car! Asking $3,500 for it, OR TRADE for a 2nd gen 78-81 TA in decent shape that runs good.
