I'll start off, I am in Eddyville, which is about 15 mintues from Ottumwa, and I avhe a 86' IROC.

Yeah, I pretty well do have a dragstrip in my backyard, but I'm not sure whether I'll be at the track as my tranny is about rady to take a dump on me, so I'm saving up for a 6 speed. I ahve some friends from up there, if you dont mind, Who are you? I'm Benjamin Fenton, and depending on what class your'e in you migth have heard my name before.

 

fenton...fenton... sounds familiar. Are you in highschool? I remember hearing that name tossed around back in my high school sports days. Maybe Tyler Fenton is the name i'm thinkin of.

West Des Moines here with an '86 Trans Am. I plan to make it to Edyyville at least once this summer since my wife's employer (architect firm) is a sponsor of the track and could get us free admission...

 

Tyler is my cousin,. and yes you would ahve heard his name tossed around since he was a stud. Personally, I like cluthces so I guess its just a matter of fun-ness. I know most of the fergusons, Brett Morris, the Stouts, and Alisha Ehret...woo woo...shes a dandy...thats justa few of them.

What does WrecklessZ Drive? I might have seen him, there are like three or four Z28's in Lisbon alone, and probably three or four more RS's

 

Here is what he has. Currently the red one lives in my garage and will be out this spring. He is driving his dads 95Z28 (Black) also while his white IROC is laid up with front end damage.

Rogue86, i have a dark green bird that is pretty much stock at this point but i have some zr1's that are goin on it when i get the car back from the body shop. my cousin drives the green vert with the gold stripes. i also know the guy that has the pewter 2000 ws-6 thats for sale by Geetings. theres alot of f-bodys in this town but i cant recal yours. pm me sometime, we should get some of us together for photos

I went last year and it was a blast!!

 

It may be expensive for me to drive two cars over... hopefully I have the IROC tuned by then.

 

Hey JT didn't know you lived in DSM, I have yet to see your car in person though.

 

All in all the swap went well. Other than the 3 foot flames that were coming out of the hood when I tried to set the float levels on my 750 Holley. Gas and hot headers don't mix well. Maybe I'll run into ya at one of the cruise events in the area this summer.

Just a FYI for those that dont know...I host an annual F-Body ONLY gathering here right by Des Moines. 2005 will be the third year of the gathering. Last year we had a little over 70 f-bodies from all over the midwest.

Deffinatly everyone has to make it to Josh's get together. I have been there every year, and it just keeps getting better. I hope some of you guys can make it out to the tracks with us some this year. Such as Eddyville on 4/29/05 .
For the guys that asked, the White WS6 is an 02, has 28k miles, and far from stock
