Its from a 89 GTA I swapped it out at 72,000 with no problems,I upgraded to a stage 2 bowtie specialties 700r4.

ok you prolly got more motor than me i just got a lil 335 stroker but i am curently biulding a 396 SBC it's gonna be a monster

govenor? hmm my old trans would do 145 no problem.did not know ther was a govenor in the 700r4.just buy mine and throw it in lol.I also have a ram air 2 hood,however some guy bought it from me on ebay,BUT he hasnt contacted me to make payment or pick it up,so idk what to do,im gona wait till monday then relist it.

sounds like the throttle cable just needs to be adjusted.

 

the 700r4 i have in there now does not have a RV cable in it and my motor is carbed

youll prolly have to put a shift kit in,and or upgrade to a full manual valve body.

Stormy FTS in Iowa City FTW with your tranny and rearend questions. They built mine and are stds when it comes to answering questions like that. You ever gonna bring that to McGraths for the car show? BTW want to buy a B and M console shifter?

I work at sears and eberles in CR. Chris Fountain at fountains transmission in IC rocks my socks too. He did my TH400 with a tranny brake. I love tranny brakes.

What is yor compression? What is your goals with the car? What intake do you have on it now?

 

i just have a lowrise eddy on it at the moment but it has the restrictive 305 heads and i need more cam to i think it has a holley 600 single feed but it is junk don't know on the compression i have never checked it

 

Should be plenty good for a 335 my advice build the car for the engine your building and save the engine mods for the new engine
