It looks like Bennigans will start April 28th with there Wednesday night car thing here in Des Monies. It's going on now but there is no grill or beer yet. It's been a long winter and I'm ready for it.

Yeah, I know someone that was selling a DFI. Too bad that as soon as someone showed interest and wanted more info and pics, he never got back to them...

Re: Iowa? Anyone?
Lol, which engine? I've got a few. The one in the car is an iron stock iron head TPI putting down 330 to the tires with a 150 shot on top of that. The short block I just bought is going to be a 10.5/1 small block with a set of Dart Pro1s I picked up off a guy on here that I have. Should be just under 600hp without the bottle from what my engine builder is telling me. Guy JUST called me tonight about an open slot for getting the cage in within the next 3 weeks.

Yours still may be on the road before mine though. Still need paint and suspension. I'm sure the tranny is gonna scatter soon too. Stock T5s aren't the greatest.

I have no idea why, but it seems like every 3rd post it'll put my sig in there. No clue why.
Not really needing a spoiler unless it's free, but like I said, I'm needing a Digital 6.

Nice no doubt, yeah when i get time i'll have to stop by. I got rid of the 83 and looking for a cleaner platform to start with preferably a late ROC or a 91-92 Z. I intend to do a LS swap!!!! still have the 89 though don't want to chop it up

I'm new to this, and not sure where to go on this site to get my questions answered. so going to try here. in 1991 purchased a Z28 305 V8 5 speed manual with T tops. It was ordered in Feb 91 and deliv in May 91. In Aug of 91 Someone tried to get the same thing and was told could not get t tops with 5 speed. trying to find out how many were made, and what value would be.

1FP87 - 12,452 Z28's
CC1 - 38,836 t-top cars
LB9 - 9,996 305 TPI (Z28 base engine)
MX0 - 85,321 automatic with overdrive
For better more accurate info from guys who can probably tell you exactly how you got a t-top, manual, Z28 post your question in the History/ Originality section.

Hi everyone, new to the Forum; live in Washington, south of Iowa City. First time owner of a Camaro, inherited my mom's 1990 RS when she passed 5 years ago, but only able to go get the car last week from Maryland. Hope to meet some fellow ThirdGen'ers when it is road worthy again

Hello! Sorry to hear about your mom. What all does the car need to be back on the road? There's a lot of great info here.... and everyone is more than willing to help out with any questions, etc. Welcome!

Re: Iowa? Anyone?
It's OK Dagwood, thanks for saying it though. That pity party ended about four years ago, now I have a cool AF Camaro RS with T-Tops!!!! and a small block V8. Right now it is at a mechanics shop getting a check. The brakes are bad, pulls hard right when applied, and almost no stopping power. runs like crap but that is a due to 6 year old gas in the tank and probably a fuel filter/tune up. I have the means to throw some money at it right now to get things fixed professionally.
