Does anyone have a LSD for a 4th gen rear in south eastern Iowa? It'd need to be a series 3 carrier and good for 28 spline axels. I'm in New Sharon if anyone knows where that is. (About 20 miles south of Grinnell.)

 

buy an SLP take-off .....it's $100.

 

Yeah I thought about that, but when I was modding my 95 I was looking into it and I heard that SLP's service sucks and that they were nearly out of the take offs a few months ago.

I ended up getting a whole new rear end to put under my 4th gen and now am just looking for a posi to put in the old open 4th gen rear that came out.

Really I'm just looking for a local used one to save a few bucks, and so I can just drive somewhere and pick it up.

 

i work at bob brown chevy in Des Moines and i think one of the guys at work has a OEM 4th gen torsen style carrier. im sure he would sell for reasonably cheap. i will talk to him and get back to you. it might be after x-mas.

The rear end has 3.23's in it right now. I might be interested in some 3.73's if you know where there are some.

talked to the guy at work he said he would take $75. i have a spare set of 3.42 gears i can give you if you want them.
