winter 'storage'
i'm taking my car of the road for the winter soon, i'm going to park the car in the backyard, put sta-bil in the tank, disconnect the battery, throw mothballs in the interior, & lock the doors, is there anything else i should do to 'winter-ize' the car?

Fresh oil change and filter.
Full tank of gas with the Stabil properly mixed.
Unless the backyard is concrete or tarmac, make sure you have something between the undercarriage and the ground. 1/2 inch plywood works okay.
Put a decent wax on the paint and throw a permeable cover over the car. UV and birds.
Stick a rag or something in the tailpipe.
I'd yank the battery too and store it inside somewhere.
Put those moth ***** in a container so you can find them all in the spring. LOL
