does anyone know of any car clubs in Wisconsin for us 3rd gen people?

 

We just fixed up our 91 vert and I am curious as well. From the lack of response it doesn't sound like it. I did see a cool spring/fall cruise that goes through wisconsin. http://www.fallcruise.org/

 

www.brewcitymuscle.com has a handful of us thirdgeners, and I think we are gonna try to have something go for just us, but not sure yet. anyways it's a cool forum, check it out. btw, nice 91 rs vert, i sold my 91 z vert last year, i miss it a lot!

 

Wisconsinstreetdominators.com Has some of us Thirdgen guys too.

 

^^^that's where i bought my 85, looks like a good group of people as well. we should organize a get together for our area sometime. i know my area as well as outer west bend area has some really nice roads.

 

definately..... I dont know if your cars are completed or not....mine is a work in progress (brought it back from the dead) but I enjoy driving my t-top anytime anywhere... I am in Portage... check out my link below...

 

That would definately be cool to have a get together/cruise day with a bunch of us. I know some more people around the ripon area that have third and fourth gens that would be up for that as well.

 

cool, I started this thread some time ago to see who was around to get together and swap ideas and have a little fun along the way.... I have my 89 t/a that I have been upgrading with 4th gen seats, belts, and such

 

I have a 89 gta that I have done alot of things to. New seats, carpet, ram air hood, wheels, and lots more. My buddies and I go on quite a few cruises during the summer and we always turn heads, so hopefully we can get some more cars and really have some fun.

 

I'm in new berlin, wi. a burb of milwaukee. Just started turning the wrenches on my 92 camaro 3.1L to 350 swap. Brew City Muscle has got some mean cars but I'm definatly up for starting an exculsive third gen club

Hey man that's real close to me...I work in sussex. Anyways hows it going on the swap? I'd love to get my hands on an 85-90 trans am gta. Can't just have camaros. We definetely gotta get a cruise going or a gettogether for all of us around here soon! One of my cars is completely torn apart, and the other looks kinda crappy but i'd still love to get together.

 

Id like that too! My 89 trans am aint much to look at but it does run.... took me to FLA and back..... Im in portage and Id make the trek there..............

 

man most of you guys a bit to far north for me to actually drive. Mine is also a work in progress. If something did happen I would be willing to come down and hang out. Will bring the car if i ever get a T56 installed. With the TH350 and the 3.73 gears i burn through gas to fast to make it down to the Milwaukee area.

 

No clubs where Im at or in duluth, mn

Ranone21, your in Portage, right? I know that area pretty good, I used to work in Portage. How's your car coming along? Did you get your 4th gen seats in yet?

 

the rear is in and the front buckets are on the way as is the 4th gen console and shifter...... There are 3rd gens buckets in it now that are for sale as is most all of my gray interior.....

 

do you happen to have the sail panels for sale?

on the north side of milwaukee just took the motor out of my car (again) will probably need a new one (thinkg 383 TPI with a vortech) will have to see how cash ghoes so car may be down for awhile would be interested in a get together or something let me know when and where

Just to through out a date....I might be going down to chicago on the 25th for a day. I won't have the camaro but I would be willing to stay at a hotel 6 and swing by madison on the way home on sunday the 26th and check out some of the rides.

That's only 18 miles from my house. Not sure if we can make it this week...I still have to put in my passenger seat belts and I think its suppose to rain this Thursday. I will shoot for next Thursday and work to finish up my interior this weekend.

 

Im located south of Milwaukee in Oak Creek. I'd love to get together some time to see some of your rides, but I got school starting in a couple days and then I am working pretty much every other day.

What is autocrossing at Miller Park? I just started school today at UW-M, first semester of my PhD so I know the working and school leaves little fun car time. Thanks for the comment on the sig...just used photoshop on a photo and made one layer a water color of the photo and one layer the original photo and cut out everything except the car.

 

The sig is easy...just did this photo from your vBGarage in about 5 minutes. If you want it trimmed down to a signature size I can do that.

If you click "Local 2007 schedule & results," and then click the seach by class for the different events, look for Michael Manke #101 with the silver Dodge Dakota under the Rear Drive Street Tire class to see my results (I was able to beat a couple corvettes and mustangs in the truck on a couple days). Now that I got the camaro I will be using that.

As for school, I'm still a junior in high school.
