Re: Hello Michigander here

LOL hopefully I wont!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thow Im getting mine for a few hundred bucks being a project car. I just got the 4 bolt main block for 25 bucks. So hoping it dont add up to quick. Having been a mechanic in the late 70's early 80's I can do most the work myself. I know a few people that work at or own bodey shops so hopefully that will help with paint. I can do the bodey work myself just cant shoot the paint allergic to something in it. And I know several guys into scraping and junk yards so hopefully that will help with allot of parts. I know allot of hope's and assumptions LMFAO. But with allitle luck it might help keep the investments down a touch anyways. Michigan Speed I joined when I had my supra before my wife fell ill and then myself. been a rough 5+ years and just getting back on my feet.

ha man, its nice to hear about (no offense->) older guys getting back into the hobby. I got people telling me all the time that Im just young(27) and that by the time i'm their age(40-60), that I wont want to wrench on cars ever again. Considering Im a technician and thats my career choice, I sure hope they are wrong and that my love for cars and wrenching will live long, especially when considering the considerable amount of cash that has to be invested into the tools of the trade, plus all the education and seminars, yada yada yada.

Nice that you can share your f-body passion with your daughter, thats awesome man. You should have her join up here. Not sure how many sites you visit or whatever but I know there are at least a few guys from GR at the other site I use a lot which is mifbody.com . Well see ya around. Oh, by the way, in case you didnt notice yet, I responded to your pm.
