Paint shops in Kansas City?

I am thinking of getting a 92 Z-28 painted in the original hugger orange, I was wondering if anyone know of any paint shops in Kansas City that specialize in the GM colors? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you Chris

Re: Paint shops in Kansas City?

Newbie here. I've also begun the search for a good paint / body shop in Lawrence or the KC metro area for my 92 Firebird Trans Am GTA. It'd be great if there was a consensus on who to trust this important work with. I've also started checking out local junkyards for parts. High prices online with shipping charges and just pictures to go by are disappointing. Anyone have opinions? Thanks everyone!

For Paint I would have know Idea, If memory serves me right there is a place down in gardener, ks that does good work they specialize in Big rigs though. As far as parts stay tuned to Craigslist there are always 3rd gens being parted out. Got a new driver side door complete for 50 bucks today.

I know you may not want to hear this, but I am not an employee of a dealership. I bought a new spoiler and had the windshield trim/rear decklid as well as both doors repainted after vandalism. They did very quality work. Randy Reed Pontiac/Chevy on Barry Road has surprised me on how good their work is. There are still a few people who work there that remember these cars firsthand that will help you out. It was worth the dealership prices to have them restore my "old car" to like new!
