there are 2 camaros one in chi and one in dearborn right down the street from me here and i cant post in the thread to try and purchase one of these cars...one of them is red with no hood that was posted here and moved and the other is a green rs

I was in the same boat as you when I first joined. I would never want to discourage anyone from buying a third gen, but one thing I wished I would have done before buying my 85 was to spend several hours on this site doing a search for "1985" and reading all the posts on 85's. I would have learned that a TPI Z28 has a one year only computer and some other oddities. Not that this would have kept me from buying my car, but I would have gone into it with more open eyes. If you see some cars here that you're interested in buying, I would highly recommend checking out those years on this board since every year and model has their own quirks and common problems.

 

i love this site i been a member with previous names on here for 5 years now and glad to say when this guy calls me back today ill be a proud owner or my 5th third gen!

but yeah there is no other site like this!
