I plan on hitting the track this weekend for a day of T&T.
This question is for those of you who live South of Rockford.

What are the road conditions for 39 and 2? Are they still shot or did somebody finally shell out the money to fix 'em?

LOL I honestly can't ever recall either of them being that bad, and I'm on em a lot.

Re: Byron and road conditions
Last time I was there was in 05 with my bike. I remember it being a bit of a rough ride there and back. Now with my ground clearance issues on the car, I need to pay attention to it more

Re: Byron and road conditions
Supposta be sunny Saturday. Only 5 T&T weekends left in the season. My car's not ready but I have to get a weekend in this year. Something always comes up and screws my racing plans.

Hey guys
Apparently Byron changed the schedule 2 days ago. I'm looking for a whole day of T&T. Can you make it tomorrow, 10/19/08?
I can't do next sat. Somebody's paying me to work on a Honduh.

Joeblue - i'd like to see your car run
firebird - no homecoming sunday

Re: Byron and road conditions
Just got back today from Byron. Ran a 12.03 with 1.59 60 foot. Got the left tire 8 inches off the ground also. New bests for me. It was a blast. There was a car there that did such a wheelstand the back bumper hit the pavement and then slammed back on the ground and started a little fire. They had the corvette club there also, and apparently they like there stock rear ends and 2 broke in the first 60 minutes of racing. Gears and fluid all in the box. It was pretty sweet to see. Maybe next time
