I need serious help, frustrated
I have the black 89 GTA Trans Am and when i first start it, it normally starts up. It runs rough a little bit. If it's shut off then try to restart, it wont start, so i shoot ether in it and it fires right up and starts running again. come to a stop sign and it feathers itself down and stalls. Fuel pressure regulator is new, fuel pressure is at 39 psi, new cap and rotor, new ignition module, wires, plugs. oxy censor says running lean. put a new Mass Air Flow on, didnt help at all. I was told that 6 of 8 injectors have high resistance, but it could be the computer also. I'm tired of putting money in it that i dont have and its driving me nuts. I need some answers please,
.
I was told that i cannot have true dual exhaust since there is only 1 Oxy sensor. Is this true?
The injectors look like they are stock.

The resistance should be between 11ish to 15ish, if it is in the single digits that injector should be replaced. Are they the stock injectors or aftermarket??

Yes, they said that the cap was arcing, so i put a new cap and rotor on it. the odd thing is its been on there for 6 years with very low mileage and was put on just before i bought it 6 years ago. I think the garage was guessing like i was. i was told not to buy injectors at Autozone, they are $50 there. Where should i buy them then? Thanks for your reply pearl. Nice car

Try Jon at http://fuelinjectorconnection.com for your injectors, they will fix you up with some nice Bosch III's at a reasonable price.
