I didnt even know about thirdgen fest

 

If you look through the message boards under Gathering Boards... after the 1st of the year I'm sure there'll be a link for Thirdgen Fest '14.... check out thirdgen fest '13 feed and see the pictures it's a good time

 

Hopefully I will be able to make it, I'm still welding in the floor on my car.

 

I'll have to pass on a big show like that...... My car is pretty much a stock six with some slight mods and a pretty decent rattle can job.... its needs a lot more work to be show worthy

 

Half the cars there are projects. It is to meet people and have fun. Your car is just fine

This year I went to a ton cruise-ins and shows and saw very few 3rd gens. I hope we can change that next year.

 

I'll have the engine swap and the car will be painted finally so you can expect me to be around

Those who had them on their walls as posters, will finally have the money to really build them nice by then. So they'll get a revival. Prices on them will start to go up in the next 10 years anyways. Its already happening for clean examples.

 

I would much rather not wait 10 years and get local people on this board together next year like we are planning. Plenty of us in the Chicagoland area with 3rd gens already. Just need to organize some meet ups.

 

Im in Illinois close to STL. Im down for cruising anytime when the weather is nice. Im new to my 3rd gen and I don't know anybody else that has one around here. Any shows or meets coming up??
