I'm new to the site, new to third gens, and general motors in general. i'm in the process of trading my 68 ford falcon for an 86 firebird. it's blue with a rebuilt 305 and t-tops. as you can see by the name, i was planning on putting a 389 in it before i got diagnosed with leakemia for the second time. now i'm looking to put together a budget 350 or 383. this is going to be one big learning project, being my first GM, firebird, and solo project, so any push in the right direction is appreciated.
Thanks,
Justin

Well I will tell you one thing, you will find that GM cars and trucks are a lot easier to work on and deal with compared to FORDS!!
Especially when dealing with engine swaps.
