I just moved to Columbia, MO. Going to school here for the next 2 1/2 years.

 

As soon as I get my car runnin again I am going to most likely makin a few trips that way. It may be awhile since I will most likely get it painted right after I get it running. But if not look for a yellow primered camaro with a black ss hood and black rims. If its painted look for a tutone camaro atomic orange on the bottom and black on top. Shes gunna stand out either way...lol

 

I live in Columbia. I just stored mine though. I need to find a good junkyard also.

My car is light blue with silver racing stripes, shaved door handles, tinted, and a nice system. Only stock wheels for now though...

I hate this winter sh*t.

 

Mine is also parked for the winter due to it using a half bottle of anti freeze everytime i drive it. I now drive a 4 door cavalier

the only one I know of only has like 3 3rd gens, 2 firebirds and a maro. They are almost totally stripped and not in good shape. I can remember what the road it is on it called but it is out close to centralia, I can get the addy if u want? If I remeber right though a buddy said there is one out by Kingdom City. I will try and remember and ask him tomorrow.

 

I heard of one by Kingdom City but couldn't find it. I just need a few 3rd gen parts and then start adding some 4th gen parts. Like rear end, driveshaft, gas tank, etc.

 

I didnt look for any 4th gen parts, tho i would like to get a set of door handles, but I will get the addy for both of them and get back with you so you can see if you can find what ur lookin for. Where are you at in CoMo?

 

South on Providence about one mile from the stadium. I do need to look around more for these places. I went to one in STL by the racetrack and they wanted $20 a piece for some broken iroc taillights. I will never go there again.

 

I am getting ready to move to Campus View Apartments if you kno where that is off providence. haha thats a long drive and a stupid price lol. I got a pair of rear firebird wheels for 50 with tires from the one out by centralia. They have seemed pretty resonable when I have been out there. They just dont have many camaros out there.

 

I live at Forest Village. Not too far from there.

 

Haha you gotta love the 4 door cavaliers, Ive been driven my moms since I got my car up to the shop. Ive burnt the e-brake cable out twice already in that beastie car. Ive also raced a couple ppl and won, its an Eclipse Eater. I might get stuck with my moms sebring this winter just becasue im painten my car and switchin it to carburated. As soon as its done its comin to play in the snow, if there is any left by then. I love my car in the snow, its dangerous and you have to be really careful, but when you do decide to get a lil wild she is def ready to respond. Just make sure you got some sand bags and some tire chains. We get some prtty bad ice down here at the Lake and the roads are bad enough already but you just gotta be smart about it.

 

Did you ever get the addresses of those Junkyards by Centralia and Kingdom City, Dirk?

 

My wife & I go to the Camdenton//Sunrise Beach//Laurie//Osage area once a year, but not in the Camaro. In '10 we plan on July//August time frame. We have YET to time it for the big car show//swap meet!!
We also seem to miss "Thunder On The Lake"!!

I like to go to Captain Ron's for some good wings!

 

So does anyone know of any good junk yards around here for both 3rd gens and 4th?

We spent a couple days in Camdenton-26th-28th!! We were in the Sleep Inn across from WalMart!! Didn't see any 3rd gens out--I was looking for you guys!!

I'm in St Charles, not too far from Columbia I suppose. It's about an hour and a half away. I get over that way every so often, maybe once a year.

 

Awh man, my car is at the highschool. If it wasnt for me gettin her painted and what not you would have def seen me around there. Im really the only one that drives around town with my car, there are maybe 4 or 5 of em and only 1 is in good condition. Im hopin to have my car done around Feb though so if you come back PM me.

 

Does anyone ever go to the Magic Dragon Street Meet Nationals in Lake Ozark? During the summer they have cruises every friday night too.

I have a friend who lives in Moberly who wants a local junkyard. He is looking for the aero ground effects. I don't know how lucky he will get. I also need some parts from a 4th gen suspension and 3rd gen parts. I hate to dig around a junkyard during the winter tho.

Gotta get my Iroc back on the road. Had some steel fuel lines go bad and can't find a replacement anywhere!

 

hey gr8ergood, when you get that maro up and running we oughta pit em against each other, ive pretty much got the same setup, just a bird instead :P

 

Still working on the Maro, I keep digging up fuel system Gremlins. Hopefully in a week I'll be back on the road, although I won't be up in mid-mo until end of May, more than likely.

We'll have to get together and go for a cruise or something. It's seems like it's too hard to find other guys who appreciate our cars these days.

 

Its probably a lot farther south than what you want, but there's a 3rd and fourth gen fbody specific junk yard just over the border in arkansas. Its convient cause they will have what you're looking for but I wouldn't recommend it since the charge ridiculously high on everything I piced
