I have been through Troy many times. I grew up in Hannibal and left in 76 to join the Air Force. Been living in Texas since 82. The winters are much better here and NO rust on the 3rd gens !

We've had sun and about 70F all week...very nice. But there were 5 tornadoes in the area last nght. Very odd for January.

What do you do there in Troy ? Have you always lived in the area ?

I love going back home to visit. Everything is SO laid back there compared to Dallas/Fort Worth.

LOL. It's warmed up some since last week. Been in the 40s/50s mostly and rainy. Forecast says it's going to snow again towards Friday. We just got the last one melted off.

Camdenton is in the lake of the ozarks. Osage Beach is about 10min away from me and Lebanon is about 30min away. I'm pretty sure I'm a bit south from you.

My car is currently in it's rebuilding stage, should have exterior done around the end of the month and interior and some other small details done closer around this summer. So a meet for me may be in awhile. Does anyone ever come down to lake ozark for thr magic dragon street meet nationals? I know we have cruises every Friday night(when it warms up) at the bagnell dam strip. I've only seen a couple 3rd gens and most of them are prtty trashy, no real car guys. But it may be something some of you are interested in. Make it like a weekend trip and check out the lake and all that it has to offer.

troy is lik 45min north of stlouis and lik 35/45 south of bowling green/hannibal.

literally right in the heart of wentzville. but yeah my car wont be going anywhere soon its awaiting the garage for some serious suspension upgrades. itll be late spring early summer befor its ready.

I'm planning on goin to college at Missouri Western in St. Joesph. I hope to see some of u third gen owners up there, if I don't get my Army ROTC scholarship then I'll be staying near the Zona Rosa Mall in kc and just drivin to school from there.

I'm sick of all this snow & rain. This is probably the worst part about St. Louis. I have lived here roughly 5 years almost & for the last couple of years it's been ridiculously wet during spring & winter.

Once in a while we'll stop for grub @ Cracker Barrel @ the Troy exit on our way to Camdenton.
Next trip ( July something ) we're going to the car place @ exit 41. Some GREAT looking cars & trucks in the buildings!!

I'm sure a couple of you have seen me out on the roads. I've seen a few 3rd Gen's out on hwy. 270 & 55 south, mostly during the spring & summer. There are a crap load of Foxbody's in Arnold & south of there. I usually do my driving on 270, 55, 70, 370 & 44.

We most likely won't make the big show & cruise or Thunder On The Lake!!
We always seem to miss thm by a few days!! Vacation time for summer is hard to get! We missed Thunder by 3 days last year!
Maybe we can see some cars on Bagnell Dam strip when we go.
Last time I went thru that way there were more Harley's than a dealer has!!LOL
Still a while for July but I'll post-up when we go.

hey guys. and unfortanutly pretty much all the snow hit me out here in troy. and it sux. i hav to park my car out at the end of my road cuz my road is bad and then i get to walk 1/4mile to my house. and my road is pretty much one big icy hill. lol. so it sux. im sooooo freaking tired of all this stupid snow and s**t. im sooo ready for freaking summer!! lol. hope the weather is better evrywhere else.

o and me and my brother are gona wait till the weather gets warmer and things start looking better on the roads and stuff b4 we get a meet together. me and him wer thinkin of getin together some time in april. and hav that meeting as just kind of a get together so evry one can kinda get to kno each other and then we were gona do another meet to get evryone together to go to third gen fest out in crete,il. cuz we thout that the idea of a bunch of us on the hwy all goin to one location wld be pretty bad a*s. lol.
