Looking for good machine shop in IL
I am located in Champaign IL and wondering if there are any good machine shops around to do bore and cleaning and balencing of the crank and machine the mains. Please anything near me. Thank you

I used a machine shop in Burlington, IA. Obviously 3 hour+ drive isn't going to work. You could ask the local circle track racers. They should be able to provide you a decent shop.

Id do a drive if its worth it since the only one I know of in town is Kennedy's Machine which one of the engine I pulled and rebuilt had a crank done by them and it looked like crap so I dont want to use them. Since I am 16 and wont have my license tell December I will do the drive if its not bad on price and well worth it. And Thank You for your response.
