Fuel Sending unit 85 sc 5.0 LG4 ?

I've been searching - thought i had one at summit racing, but the guy said the two they list are not for use with an "H" engine.

i had my car sitting for several years and started rehabbing it a bit, fuel filter clogged twice. dropped the tank and the lines are pretty well rusted feeding into the tank. i would like to know if anyone has an actual part number for a replacement for it.

1985 SC Camaro 305 V8 4BBL AT - 8th VIN digit H.

Any help or direction would be appreciated.

Ron

Bah- nm, i cleaned up the old one and reinstalled it. keeping my fingers crossed that the pickup wasnt clogged - i was able to blow throughit and felt no restrictions, and that the level sensor works, guess ill just get a stick if it doesn't
and if i replaced every part that had a little rst on it, well i would be driving a 2010...

ya im not sure you can buy a new sending unit at your local PS but summit sells them for big$$$ your best bet is to go to a u-pull JY and take one from a differant carb car they can be hard to find though!
