MFBA Road America Rental, April 28th-29th, 2012.

Its a blast every year. Last year had a few guys from TGO come out with their cars. Had a Players Challenge car out there, with some regular production 1LEs, and a RS as well. Tons of F-bodies and Vettes to go with the exotics.

The MFBA Road America Spring Rental dates have been set!

We'll be renting the track out the weekend of April 28'th and 29'th, 2012.

Full details and registration is available via our website:
http://roadamerica.mfba.org/

All Make and Model Cars are Welcome to come out and Participate in this event!!

We have 4 run groups based on experience that get 4-5 20 min sessions
out on track each day. You will have a LOT of track time! Most people
are exhausted by the end of the day.

Instructors are available free of charge for people who would like
them, and anyone who has not been on Road America will automatically
have an instructor assigned to them.

We also offer a lunch time touring session for those that just want to
get a chance to go out on the track at slower speeds.

Pricing..........................................Weekend..............Single Day
Now till Feb 14th............................$395.....................$235
Feb 14th to Apr 13th......................$445......................$255
Apr 13th to day of Event.................$495.....................$275
Touring Session.........................................................$60
Spectators................................................................$5

Many of you noticed that we pushed last years event pretty hard to
make it a success. We do plan to push this event even harder. We
anticipate that some run groups will fill up early so we strongly
encourage per-registration.

Thanks and we hope to see you in the spring!

Re: MFBA Road America Rental, April 28th-29th, 2012.

Well, the Road America HPDE was amazing, I got some decent touring time with the GTA (Touring because I didn't trust brakes for a real session). I still had a chance to put the Nitto NT05's through their paces, and even in touring i still worked out the stock brakes. Really need better pads/fluid though. A LS1 brake swap would be great, I'll see about that later though.

Bought a SA2010 Snell helmet to fit my big head, my old helmet was a SA2000 helmet and is now expired.

We took some time and gathered nearly every GM vehicle that was at the event for a group shot. I was shocked at the number of GM vehicles there.

So here are the two pics. Warning, they are big. Click on the pic for the full size version My car is obviously front and center in one of them. And yes, that is ALOT of brake dust on the wheels. Gonna take some effort to get them off.

On track with the GTA. Only Touring cause my brakes were chicken and ran the other way at the thought of a hot session.
