Illinois chip tuning

Hey people when I was driving back to Chicago from Champaign a few months ago I saw a sign for a chip tuning TPI company. I can't remember the name of company, which is what I am trying to find out. The sign had a bulldog on it or something. Anyone know what I am talking about. If not, any places near Chicago that are TPI specialists with a dyno and can burn a chip and tune my vehicle?

He's done LS stuff for a long time and he's going backwards a bit and starting lear the TPI stuff.
So yeah, soon he may be able to tackle things for us. I have about 20 cars around here that need tuned.

Re: Illinois chip tuning

Just thought I'd update ya'll...

MadTuner in Illinois has discontinued all dyno-tuning services for 93 and older cars and he says "unfortunately I do not know who can help you with that around here."

WTF?!?!

Re: Illinois chip tuning

Contact TunedPerformance. He does Eprom burning services at a reasonable price, but he is a guy out of Colorado. He'll change simple things in a .bin for you and make reasonable changes for an engine combination. A word of caution; it could be really expensive and hard to have someone dyno tune our cars unless you have a fast, accel, holley or maybe MegaSquirt system.

Re: Illinois chip tuning

TunedPerformance is the guy to go to. Plus he is specialised in Thirgens and he is TGO's chip Vendor. He has been tuning chips since the late 90's.

Re: Illinois chip tuning

Found a guy on the north side of Chicago who knows how to do this. But we have to take the IROC out in the country cuz he has no dyno. 100% load in 5th gear from 30MPH to top RPM will require lots of road... lol... hopefully going to do this in July and I will let you know how the chip works.
