Central Wisconsin 3rd Gen Newbie here!
Hello All, I live in town called Vesper WI, which is 7 or so miles away from Pittsville the exact center of Wisconsin. I just Recently got my self a 83 Pontiac Trans Am. It has 60,000 on it, and its never been drivin in the winter, Still has the zebart(spelling?) coating on it. Has Just a Little Bit of rust starting by the driverside wheel. It has a Mildly Built 350 that the PO put in it. A 5 speed Manual and a 3.73 Posi rear end. Thats all i really know about it lol. I mainly got the car an a trade for a truck, and i was just going to flip it for cash for another toy, now im not a big GM fan(except for my 78 buick) but after i drove the car home on the 24th of febuary, i liked it so much i decided im gunna keep it. So here i am, Found this forum trying to learn more about the car, it needs break work, exhaust work, and the rubber on the doors by the windows, Where do i get that rubber? Hopefully i can find somebody to paint it this summer, cause its factory paint and its a 20 foooter lol. Hopefully ill meet some other 3rd gen owners this summer! I will Get pics sometime this week.

Welcome! Be careful with the 350/5speed combo. That was never available from the factory cause the 5 speeds couldn't handle a 350's power. Weatherstripping is available lots of places. Do a search to see where others have bought there's. Its not cheap. An excellent first mod would be a wonderbar. Those are very affordable. Anything you can think of is on this sight somewhere, sometimes its a matter of finding it. Lots of excellent people here willing to help too.
