NW Suburbs of Chicago, cruise nights...
There are two shows I go to regularly during the spring/summer. Friday nights at the McDonald's on Kirchoff Rd. in Rolling Ghettos, ahem, Meadows, and Photo's hotdogs on Wolf Rd. in Wheeling/Mt. Prospect on Saturdays. I hardly ever see thirdgens at these shows. Anyone want to help remedy the problem this spring? =)

HEY NOW! I really like old muscle cars, in fact I am in the process of finding a '69 Charger R/T to turn into the General Lee, but it is kinda cool to show the old guys what todays muscle cars are like. There is nothing like the rumble of a big block! Some other cool muscle cars are: Chevelles, Challengers, GTO's, old Camaros and Firebirds, c'mon they are still bad @$$, for old guys atleast.

Hey guys, it's great to have the midwest board back. It doesn't look like the Firebird will be painted until fall, but look for me at the Downers Grove and Plainfield cruise nights in my black big-block 66 Caprice.

Prochargeiroc, Im just throwin some ideas out here. driving half hour isnt that bad to see some sweet *** cars that you havent seen before. There is usually a very good turnout. I dont know where you guys live exactly so Id say that a state map would be your best source for directions

IROC87350,
You should come up to Janesville on a Friday or Saturday night. Its nuts especially when there are 'official' cruises going on. Actually it can get so conjested your best bet is to find a parking spot along Milton Avenue and watch the show! Unfortunately there are accidents because people pay more attention to what is going on around them rather than driving the car
Hell, even on a regular weeknight during the summer you can find some street action. I'm about 30 minutes north of Janesville. You should check it out sometime when the weather gets nice.

Hey some of the mustang guys I know had gone up there before, I never went up there because my car wasn't done for most of the summer. I always wanted to go see what it was like. I heard that the police are kinda strict now though. Couple of people said they ran from them on I90 all the way to the Illinois border because they can't cross the stateline? That doesn't seem true I must say. Yeah I am going for sure this summer. I there many thirdgen's there?
