I live a few hours away from Peroia. They do over salt the roads here, I run my car from mid April to around mid Oct. In the burbs here we do have the dyno type emissions testing.

I'm about 90 miles from Peoria here in the Quad Cities. Salt??? The roads around here turn white and dusty in the winter from putting down so much salt. I'm not sure on emissions in Peroia, but we don't have any at all where I'm at. You should be able to find out through the IEPA site. Also, if it helps at all Peoria is in Peroia County. You may be able to find a county website.

I would get a winterdriver and leave your car in the garage. I wish I had the money to do that, but I'm only 16 so my car is my winter driver and unfortunately it gets parked outside.

QwkTrip,
Welcome to the Midwest! What part of WA are you relocating from? I have been to Seattle-Tacoma, Kent and Everett. Very beautiful there and people are personable and nice.

Looks like your ride is bad *** ! Hey......when you get settled in check out MFBA (Midwest F-Body Association). Very, very active club with a good number of 3rd gen owners/enthusiasts and growing! Check it out. This invite also goes out to all the Midwest area 3rd gen owners/enthusiasts!

Again.....WELCOME!

Mike
