We are hoping it'll be a good time, not like a normal show up and sit around show.

Have you been to this one before?

I've got my hands full this year, so there's little chance I make it to any shows aside form the one our own club puts on. The car is no where near show ready, but, you know, gotta support the club.

Would love to think I'll be ready for this in '22. Probably tow to Springfield and drive from there. Or camp locally. Looks like they have a designated host hotel?

Just got my T/A Nationals paperwork in the mail too.

 

This is the 1st year for this show so the learning curve will be steep !!! Either way, it should be a blast

 

What kind of rules and tech inspection at the drag strip? 1/4 mile?

 

I'm guessing it would be normal tech (NHRA track) and yes, 1/4. However, they can be a bit looser on some events.
(we will be just be showing our cars and spectating due to an event being held at gateway)

 

Update, we have 122 cars heading to the event and are expecting quite a few more, should be a good time!

 

So.... anybody going to tell?

 

Was a great time, right around 150 cars came along for the weekend. Most of the pictures and things are on FB. I'll try and put some here.

 

 

 

 

Looks like fun! (Had to open the thread in chrome, as one of my settings in Firefox was blocking the photos). Especially that park-like setting that I assume is at the Transportation Museum. Definitely would like to partake in this one someday.
