Buying F-Body Diecast

Mainly interested in 1970-2002.

Any scale, considered.
Seriously looking for a Camaro 10 car Johnny Lightning set that came out a couple months ago.

Will also consider plastic models/RC cars. Anything that can be considered a toy F-Body 1970 and up Camaros and any year Birds.

Buy-Sell-Trade

Send pics and asking price to me at transambill@yahoo.com.

Thanks,
Bill

The only thing I've got that body style is a Monogram 1991 Firebird Formula 1:24 scale plastic model.

I've got some 3rd gen Z-28's,even some blue ones but none with the 91-92 Z-28 style wing, hood louvers,or ground efects.
The only thing out there are some older plastic models that you can usually find on e-bay that usually go for $25 and up.

Been going thru my diecast collection and writing down what I have and so far I've just got my 1:64 scale Johnny Lightnings done.

I've got 4 that I have tripples of and If somebody needs them there up for grabs. There all still on there cards under plastic.Would like to get $5 each or trade for other diecast.

Here's what's up for grabs.

1978 Firebird TA yellow.
1971 Firebird Formula 400 green.
1970 Firebird,green,HOT ROD Magazine series.
1992 Camaro RS white.

This list will change all the time. I just bought 50 more cars within the last week and some will stay and some will go.
I have a BUNCH I have doubles of and as soon as I get white lightning versions of those,my doubles will all be up for grabs.

Unfortunitly no one makes any 82-92 Firebird diecasts.

I've seen a list of cars Johnny Lightning is releasing for 06 and again no 82-92 Birds.
I did see another list of cars they want to do that are cars people send pics in of there own car and they make it and a 89 GTA was on it so we'll see what happens.

They currently have a 83 Z-28 casting that they have passed off as a 83-Z-28,87 Iroc,89 Iroc and 92 RS.

They could make a casting of a 82 TA and pass it off as a base Firebird,Early 3rd gen TA and even a Formula and sell enough to warrent the cost of the new mode to make the casting possable.
They could do a mid 80's casting of the TA and pass it off as both a TA and GTA but you would end up with a TA without fender vents or a GTA with them.
Example,The 83 they passed off as an Iroc had no fog lights and the tail lights were not painted as the grid style, and the hood had recess's without louvers like the 83-Z-28's.

If they finally do release any 3rd gen Firebirds or any other company for that matter,I know I'll be buying all I can get my hands on.

So we'll see what happens.

Shipping will be $7.00 thru UPS (USPS lost one for me so I never use them anymore)for a total of $12.

I accept PayPal made to me at btsimmonds@seidata.com

Heres a pic of what it looks like, second from the bottom but still on the card covered in plastic, never opened.

Not too sure if I want to sell them. But if I do, you would be the person I would want to sell to. Just so you are aware, I bought these and look at more with you in mind.....no I am not a stalker but I figure if I come across something, I know where to reach you. I too enjoy die-cast and so maybe it's due to a "brotherhood" type thing.....

I think I like them too much. For the last year I have spent at least $100 a month on diecast. My wife thinks I'm nuts and there just a waste of money.
Not everyone shares the love we have for these little cars. I hit every flea market, antique store, car show, etc. I can looking for something I dont already have. If theres anything you've been looking for forever let me know. I may have or can find it for you. My Holy Grail I havent found yet. I'm looking for the white lightning version of the red Iroc. Saw one on ebay once. I bid up to $30 and still lost it by 50 cents.

Got Pics?

I've have not seen any in 1:64 scale. I've seen a bunch of the larger ones for Earnhart and Jr. The red Bud car and the green Jr. car.

I dont usually buy Nascar cars. The few I have are IROC series Firebirds of Earnhart and Jr.

I'd never seen one either, that's why I bought it! Especially since to my knowledge he never drove a 3rd gen in the goodwrench colors other than maybe a local shorttrack appearance maybe. I'll post some pics tomorrow. I also have the card that describes it.

I posted this one in another thread. I think it is the prototype for the car you bought. I hope you didn't pay what they wanted where I got that picture from. The Earnhardt car that is.....

And this one is so RARE, I wasn't even sure if any still existed.

I bought this one with you in mind, just as I did with the GoBots model. This one is rare in the sense it is not only a Firebird convertible, but a 4X4 too!! This is an original diecast, not a chopped up and fabbed up one.

You like it?

I have the mask car but havent seen the 4x4 Bird before.
I'm not really into 4x4's but would of bought it anyway cause it's a Firebird.
All this stuff you buy with me in mind so when is some of it going to make it my way? lol
