Hi everyone

I am most likely getting a 92 Formula 350, and to offset the cost, I am contemplating parting out my 89 Formula 350, since it needs much more work than I can afford.

Anyway, I was just wondering how much I could expect to get if I parted it out? I have never parted out a car before and I don't know too much about how much I should charge for parts, so I'd probably have to look at old posts to get an idea.

The car is basically intact. Interior door panels are rough, no headliner, rear spoiler is cracked and warped and basically useless, and the tires on the rims are crap. No catalytic converter either, and one wheel is missing a center cap. That's it for the bad stuff lol.

The good is that the rest of the car is complete, and has an extra hood and fender that I bought.



Now, this is NOT a post saying that I'm parting out my car yet, I was just wondering what you guys think I could expect to get, assuming I sold most of it. On kbb, it said in a private party sale it'd get like $1800, and I doubt it would get that because it's not roadworthy.

No way to tell. Could be a grand for the drivetrain and the rest sits in your garage for eternity or it could all be sold within a week for three grand to someone looking for a project that wants all the pieces.
