I thought I would post this here before posting on Ebay to give real 3rd gen fans a chance at it. Up for sale is my never played with Kenner Knight Rider Voice Car. This is the holy grail if Knight Rider collectibles. The car is in new never played with condition. The box has seen better days as the pictures show but the car and figure are in mint condition. I have not attempted to test the voice action as the mechanism is somewhat delicate and may not work due to age. Many years ago I took one of these cars apart that had been run over by a parent’s car. Believe it or not the voice box is actually a mini 5 track record player in which the arm randomly falls on to a disc and plays the track when the rear license plate is pushed down. Neat huh? UPDATE: I bought a C battery, put it in, pushed the rear license plate down and KITT talks! He says all 6 quotes and the speech/speed control works properly as well. Seeing that I have nothing else that takes a C battery I will include the double pack of batteries I bought for it so the new owner can listen to KITT all they want.
