I am looking for an unassembled 1/8 scale 85 camaro to build a realistic nitro or electric rc car. My plan is to make molds from the original parts to build it because it would be a shame to crash one of these hard to find models into a curb at 40mph
So if anyone has one for sale please let me know thanks alot.

ya ive been bidding on a couple on ebay both 82 and 85 but keep losing them right before the auction ends. definatly not the easiest model to get a hold of.

 

i have spent close to 3 grand on Kits on ebay in the last few months.
(thats the place iv seen this model) i dont even build them anymore..lol
know anybody who wants to buy $4000 in 1/35 Scale kits for $1100.00 ..lol

take what you know you want to spend (top doller)

say the car is at $80.00 in the bidding.

and you are willing to spend $150 to $175

at the last 15 sec bid $175. about 99% of the time i win

the last good deal was a $650.00 Fuel Pump i won for $128 was at $90 in the bidding. and i bid $200 in the last 15 sec. Sniping..

it sucks not to win the Kit.

 

haha Sounds like you have quite the collection and know how to get some deals. Thanks for the tips. I finally got an 82 z28 kit for 100 even last night now I just need a couple parts from the 85 iroc kit (wheels, hood with louvers, and grid tail lights) so I can make a replica of my 84.

 

There were three opened kits that sold about a month ago on eBay. All were mising parts and sold CHEAP maybe $30 was the lowest - just wait, the right one will come along. I look every couple days for a complete sealed one for a fair price. I have seen them go as high as $250
