What kind of Firebird?

Hi, about a year ago I purchased a 1992 Firebird from my uncle, lately ive been wondering, what kind of car do I have?! It looks kind of like a Formula, but according to my VIN (1G2FS23E2NL226560), its a base model? On my door handles it says "Special Edition", and I have gold wheels with a plastic cup that has the Firebird emblem on them, what does this mean? Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, but I just cant figure out what kind of car I have. If anyone knows, it would be a great help to me, thanks!

Car: 86 IROC
Engine: 305 TPI
Transmission: 700r4
Well judgeing by the fact that you have an "E" for the 8th digit in the VIN, which means you have a 305 TBI engine, I'd say you have a base model because in 90-92, Formulas did not come with TBI anymore, atleast to my knowledge. As forthe "special edition" on your handles, you can buy those at Pep Boys and Auto Zone.

Don't feel bad for it being a base bird, I have a Trans Am but still only have the same engine that is in you Firebird plus you have my favorite style (91/92 nose)

it sounds like you decribing a base firebird, that has a 305 in it. other then that the special edition sitckers can be bought anywhere. i think that all v8 305's came with the gold rims...correct me if i'm wrong

got any pics of it?
