FS: 86' Firebird

Hey kidz. I recently moved to an apartment in the city and no longer have the room to store my 86' Firebird. It's been owned by my family since new and has been driven easily all it's life. Sadly, she was hit in the front driver's side back in Spring 00' and needs some TLC.

Specs: 305 4BBL, auto, (259,000 brave miles - all orig with no engine/transmission work ever needed),Metallic Bright Blue/Silver, grey/black int, sunroof (no leaks), tinted windows, orig ralley wheels, new dunlop gt qualifiers(driven about 5,000 miles), new brakes, new water pump, new $400 alarm system, new radiator, rebuilt carb (driven 3 miles since rebuilt), new battery, new windshield, newer exhaust (w dual chrome tips)

Damage: The car has 2 rust spots on either side of the lower taillight corners, some surface rust around the rear side lights, slight on pass door and a crack on driver's (old repair that cracked when the door was bumped), drivers rocker panel (why not on the passengers side I have no idea), and some surface rust on the tailgate passengers corner. There is currently no front bumper, drivers fender or drivers headlight (these were all damaged from the accident) and would need to be replaced. (both doors were replaced back in a 1997 body overhaul). The hood has some damage to the drivers side headlight notch (from accident) but is still very useable. Some frame damage to the area behind the drivers headlight which would require fixing inorder to get the new headlight to bolt on properly. This car has been sitting at my house since May '00 awaiting repairs that sadly never came. Up until late fall '02 I ran/drove this car aroud the block about every 3 months to keep her in running. Lately she will not start (gas sediments clogging fuel filter?) and I don't have the time/$/or technical ability to really diagnose the problem.

She's still a good looking car and always ran strong without burning or leaking any fluids. I'd rather not have to junk the old girl. She has plenty of potential if even as a parts car. The previously stated new parts were all done within a year of it being taken off the road (as of 5/30/00). So yes the parts are a few years old, however the car hasn't been used for 3 years - so they're as good as new The first $500 takes her home. I can supply pictures upon request. My e-mail is JDKLINGER@HOTMAIL.COM and my tele is 716-886-7007. The car is located in ALDEN (about 25 miles east of Buffalo) and you're welcome to come see her (call first please as I do not live there anymore). The car looks better than it sounds, I assure you.

Thanx all,
J
