Massachusetts boneyards?

I've been reading about people getting used T-Tops, interiors, etc from junkyards for really good deals. The last junkyard I visited in resulted in me stepping in dog crap and nothing else. Very few thirdgens. Does anyone in the area know of a good junkyard for parts?
Thanks

Ummm I cant think of any really third gen or good junkyards. Im from Northern RI. But there is a place that has aftermarket, etc 3rd gen parts for sale. Afterall you want that new interior to look good dont you! Not some musty dirty junkyard interior... If you want Ill look up the phone # of the place for you.

What are the f-body junkyards in NH, and how far north are they? I'm about an hour from the southernmost part of NH, but I'd make the drive if I got a pair of T-Tops out of it. Plus, what better a place to drive a 3rd gen than the nice backroads of NH?

If the one in salem is the one I believe ChevyGuy is referring to, it is called A&H auto exchange. It's on "Old Salem Road" I think that's the name of it anyway, it's the same street as the North Shore Tennis and Squash club and that new Miniature golf place. Hope this helps.

NO NO NO! i would never send anyone to A&H. they have about 30 dogs, the owners are bastards, and the prices are outrageous (they wanted $850 for a used T5, no bellhousing, shifter, anything. i got one for $175 with a hurst shifter at a place in gloucester). and besides that, even though the place is big, the last time i saw a third gen there was 2 years ago.

the place i was referring to is called Ferris Auto Service on Franklin Street in Salem. It is right over the bridge next to the courthouse, about 300 feet down the road behind HMA Car Care. it's kinda small, but they always seem to have several third gens.

also, i just sent my black 85 TA to AM Auto Salvage on Main Street in Rowley about a week and a half ago. it doesn't have an engine, tranny, brake/clutch pedals, clutch linkage, or center console, but it has t-tops. and the dash pad was MINT. it was black vinyl interior, but i have the front pass. seat and the drivers seat is torn. door panels and back seats are good though. brand new Catco 2 1/2 inch hi flow cat with 3 inch cat back on it.

so if you go there and see a black ta with no hood louvres, 4 inch exhaust tips, a HUGE rot hole in trunk floor and drivers floor, and all that stuff i mentioned above, tell her (Jennifer) that Jason still loves her, and misses her very much.

I might be needing a computer for a 91 305 TPI 5 speed firebird formula. Not sure yet, but i'm curious as to the price of such an item.
Thanks.

No.. I dont buy 4th gens.. Its harder to unload the parts, believe it or not.

I've got a rear right now out of a '91 formula. its a drum, 10 bolt, 28 spline. . Not sure if its a posi. Havn't opened it up/checked gears.. If its not, I'll either sell the axles or put a posi in it and sell it as a posi.

I try to avoid bw rears like the plague.
