Hey everyone, just seeing if there were any central PA guys. I'm from State College. We have a small group of f-bods here.

 

I currently attend Penn State.

 

Cool man. What do you drive? Is it even up here since the weather is nasty?

And since it is my only car, I am driving it in this weather... seems to get around with a bit of coaxing.

 

Can't say i've seen it around. Any times or dyno numbers?

 

All I have is that the engine supposedly makes 340HP with headers and 350 with headers plus a good exhaust. So my flywheel HP should be somewhere in there. The car doesn't look quite that good in it's current state with all the weather it has been subjected too, but if I cleaned it up and replaced the rocker, it will still shine. I only put the motor in last semester, no times yet... plus I ain't done with the motor, I want at least 200 more HP.


So what about you? What do you drive? What does it run?

Kinda looks like the Camaro that revved at me last semester near the Pep Boys and Giant shopping center on College Ave.

 

Who knows, I might have. I usually give anyone a rev to see if they'll bite. I've only had one good run around here against a 96-98 Cobra. It wasn't really much of a race. It was from 70-120. He didn't put up any fight.

There is at least one other black Z28 on campus with the stock 16's with exhaust though. It might have been that guy as well.

Nonetheless, you won't see my car in this mess! It's just sitting under like 4 layers of snow until spring. I have my g/f's 03 Grand Am GT to run around now. It ran 15.8 @ 87 with 5K miles on it. I go through withdraw if I don't have something to take to the track

 

Hey guys, I attend PSU myself. My Camaro isn't here right now, it's home with the motor out. As soon as the weather breaks it will be back together...but nice to know there are some other thirdgen people up here. We NEED to start a club!!! I see an orange Camaro sitting up at the stadium lot once in a while, anybody claim it? So if anyone wants to get together let's get some info pased around.

There is a club called LionsPAC. I have the link on my computer at home. The cars aren't really that special, and non of them are that quick. The quickest one is a high 13 LT1. Nonetheless, there is a club.

Sometimes my car looks orange... if it was up against the fence at the Stadium, it was probably mine... but I don't think i will be parking there too much anymore.

 

yeah, against the fence. do you have a roll bar in your car bandit? the one I've seen up there does.
