ok this is a trick i learned from my 97 Z 28---i never had the dealer mount the front license plate holder on the car...i always kept the plate in between the seat and the console and the wingnut screws in the cup holder-whenever i get pulled over and the cop comments on no front plate..i act stupid and say...i would put it on but i can't figured out where it goes..it never fails..they take the palte and the screws and try to figure out where it mounts to then give it back and ilet me go.....i havent tryed this yet with my 91 bird..but if it really bugs you that much to have a front plate on your car...give it try.....it also doesn't hurt being a girl either

and thats why you get away with it....if i do that he would pull his gun and instruct me to get out of the car and get on the ground

I lived in NJ for 23 years and am done with that sorry excuse for a state(no offense to anyone living there, as my family still does, and well most of my friends do too). I moved to FL in march of 08, and didn't get my license till i moved here for a reason. Young kid in a "Muscle car". #1 reason to get pulled.

Anyhow, I went up to NJ for my sisters wedding, then again to see my nephews and family. I can't count how many times a cop had turned around because of no front plate and no inspection sticker. Then I get to watch them turn around again, because its a Florida car, with no inspection and no front plate.

Eat that NJ Government.
Seriously though, everyone needs to move to a non inspection and non front plate state, then go back through NJ just to **** them off, lol.


Yes its a rant and rave, but a well deserved one because of how many times i have been harassed by NJ cops, even when doing nothing wrong.
I couldn't imagine having my license up there, i probably wouldn't have it now, even while not driving like an ***.

i kind of agree with have some sort of emmisions testing.....i don't have a problem modding up whatever it is im working on and leaving emmisions equipment in. of course i go with hi flow cats and things of that nature but the front plate law needs to go.....and thats why my name is on that petition

i agree with this, but until then i plan on getting one of those stow n go's that hide the front plate.
