Ok so I have been looking for a trans am lately, really looking. Im only 19 but I have loved trans ams for as long as I have been interested in cars. I have found a few but most sell before I can really get my hands on them or they are over priced. (By the way I live about 35-45 mins south of Pittsburgh)

Anyhow on my way home from work I see a Trans am on the side of teh rode drive by, nice car, white, and a for sale sign. I stop and look, its all white, grey and red interior, a few small rush spots and blotches on the body, nothing major. He has an awkward bra on the front that is a little tattered but that would come off if I got it (Hoping hes not hiding something with it, doubt it though). And the price in the window is 2200.

Is this something I should persue more or should I hold out for a better deal or later model. (I was really in love with the 89 trans ams, 20th anniversary editions, but one slipped through my fingers only a few weeks ago doubt ill find another in decent shape around here)

 

thats entirely up to you. if the car is in good shape, and you like it, go for it.

I was looking for a '91/2 B2L Z28 or GTA, and ended up with my '89 LO3 RS.

 

What about the price? Is that decent for this year and fair condition or should I try to bring him down some. Im not a huge car buff just getting in to them more and more these past years so im not really sure about things and like to ask around a lot and find out what I can. (Hence me finding this great site)
