I don't know how many times this has been tried and failed. Either way I am definately in and in fact my shop is located in Hulmeville just north of Philly and could be used as a meeting place if that was so desired.

Lets actually make this one work.. ok?

I've been to Josh's shop. BEWARE! He's just out to insult your intelligence when trying to install fuel injectors while dropping nuts and bolts into places unknown. I'm in too, don't know what happened the last time we tried to get this goin. But, if it goes anywhere I'm in.

Another amusing anecdote. I found out that the fluid is not trans fluid, its coolant. So somewhere I'm leaking a hefty amount of mountain dew. Oh well, this one I'll try to figure out, no doubt it'll end up under the tree, or next to the trailer etc etc. And you're welcome for the business, its nice that someone knows a good deal about these cars. Just let me know when I'm becoming a pain in the a$$.

What kind of work do you do? I'm pretty close to you and have been looking for a good shop that knows these cars. I have an 88 Iroc Convertible. This is actually my fourth third gen (I know that's not much as some people seem go through 4 a year!). I've had an 86, an 87 and a 92.

I may be interested in a club as well - although I'm not sure how much time I will have - too much on the honey do list.

I'm interested. I go to St Joseph's in West Philly. Near Bala Cynwyd and Manayunk. I'd be showing up in the Grand Prix until the t/a is fixed though

We do everything... Engines, drivetrain, suspension, Mild to moderate fabrication, welding, chassis set-up, custom nitrous systems, exhaust, and general repairs. We handle both foreign and domestic, but since I always have been envolved with and presently own two third gens myself we know them inside and out.

Well, since this thread is already up, anyone planning on the hooters car show this thursday? I won't be entering the show but I'll be there. Looking forward to meeting anyone who wants to go.

good deal. lets hope the rain holds off for it. haven't been to one in a few months. the last time though there was a very sick Z06 with custom carbon fiber intake manifold, and everything else you could see on the outside of the block.

Have you had any experience welding in Spohn SFC? I just ordered a set and am looking for someone who's done it before - don't want anyone smoking the carpet or melting any wire or plastic. How much would it run?

Also, do you have a website of your shop?

Well, we had some issues with the last "lets start a club" over meeting arrangements. From what was discussed last time, formula was ok with hosting a meeting at his shop . I'm working 12 hours a day now so i'm soon going to be able to actually afford getting crap done to the car so i'd be all in for having some sort of get together every first and last saturday or sunday of the month (or more often if people want to).

also, My uncle just got a mig welder and glass bead blaster so i'm learning how to use them ...for doing my own SFC installation and such. Should come in handy when i have to install the replacement exhaust system i'm gonna be getting since the current one basically fell off the car last week. Yay for crappy mild steel + salt water.

anyways, yea i'm in for meeting on the 5th or 6th. (or any other determined weekend) ... I'll be the one in the car with no muffler ...aka. work in progress.

Ok so lets set a date, time and place. I'll be there in the grand prix GT though. We could even meet at a restauruant or mcdonalds or something for lunch or dinner. Whatever you guys want.

I think it's been determined that the meet will be at Formula's shop. sometime this weekend. (with hopefully such a meeting being regular every month, like every first and last saturday/sunday of the month)

I'm about 20 minutes outside of NE philly and looking for a third gen club. Lets make something final and get a meeting set up. Everyone is waiting for something final so lets do it. Post a time and address and I will be there in my 87 iroc . Also Josh I am not far from you and have been looking for a good shop that knows third gens. WHEN I need some work done(which should be soon) I'd like to have someone that knows what they're doing working on my car. Let's get this started!

Well if you guys want to do something like I said before I will need a date and time and some phone calls to verify. I am more than happy to offer the shop to meet there is more than enough parking and noone will bother us about noise..
