I am trying to find a shop in nj that can pull my engine and then get a junked 350 and rebuild it as well as swap the auto to t56. I am looking for ONE shop that can do all this as well as order the parts needed.

your better off getting a 350 crate motor than having one rebuilt. the price of machine work alone on the motor and a rebuilt kit will most likely be more than getting a crate 350 at least around here. my frined just had a 350 freshened up and the machine work was a bit more than 1500. not including the rebuilt kit. plus he had the motor already. as far as the t56 swap and shop should be able to do the conversion if you have all the parts.

I would not trust just anyone to do this .The end bill could end up being like 10 grand with the parts . Once they have the car you are kind of stuck with them . GET A CRATE MOTOR . If you are not capeable of doing this on your own, put your trust in another TGO meber. Evan if they are a little ferther away . You know you will still end up spending a lot of money if you do not have the parts. Be prepaired to spend a few Grand with new or uesd parts . Good luck and give Josh a call .
