This is one of those questions that you need to stop and think about before asking.

Who in their right mind would openly admit on a public forum that they were a "crooked emissions inspector".

Listen, it doesn't matter. No matter, what you're car is recorded on video when its tested.

What exactly is done to you're car that makes you think that you won't pass emissions? Unless you show up with a fully tubbed car with an 871 hanging out the hood, you CAN pass.

Details about what you have and what your concern is plz.

i ment something more along the lines of them sending me a pm like, my bro works at xxx, ask for steve.
I'm leaving no emissions stuff in my car. no cat, no egr. The motor is not assembled yet, but i assume i will have trouble getting by. 350 carbed, plenty of goodies. I thought it couldent hurt to explore my options.

You'll be fine. If you're really worried, put some de-natured alcohol in your gas tank before you go for the test. Im not sure what the ratio is- ill see what I can find for you.

Like I said, no visual inspection = no problem.

yeah, i heard of doing that. I'll give it a shot. I was just getting worried that i'm putting 3k into the motor, and having no way to drive it.

let me put it this way. i'll pass just fine with a built turbo motor, etc. just for legality sake, im putting a piped thru cat on the car to keep the inspection police happy.

unless your running a 13.1 compression motor on race gas, dont worry.

I grew up in New Britain/Berlin myself. If u need a hand, let me know. Im in Hartford now.
