Its my bosses place. My apartment is actually in one corner. Its two floors. He keeps a bunch of furniture and stuff in the concrete side. The other side has the backhoe, a couple of tractors for cutting the field and spreading manure, a bunch of round bales for his brothers cows, cut wood, and just more stuff.

Yup dunno what day Im going, but I have access to free tickets all weekend. My friend/neighbor Mitch got accepted into the show for his 03' Lexus GS300. Justin & Josh kinda know him from StreetCars.
He's 16, and yes is paying for the car and mods himself. The car used to be his Cousins, and he found it at a dealer for a decent price about 2 years ago. Really nice car I must say, I ride in his when I wanna pick up some girlies haha.
My Truck isn't a real chick magnet haha.Whenever I go down itll be early in the morning or late at night.

I'm not going to be able to go unfortunately. My dads not around and im kinda sick..
any of you guys have or know where i can find a 90-92 disc rearend? My carrier needs the higher spline count of the 90-92s, and i want to upgrade to discs anyways so i am looking to buy the whole thing, or less carrier. Whatever I can find cheap.

Woke up feeling good today and went after all... thoroughly enjoyed a certain female team that was hanging around a new evo (the evo was hot too i must say). Thirdgens were poorly represented except for the intriguing white 82 on the second floor. Any of you guys see the procharger on that thing?!?!? And I cant believe that was a V8... it looked so small....
Also loved the red 572 Chevelle.
And ive been working on my dad over your shortblock justin
, though i see someone else is interested in it. He seems to think its OK now but now he has to ask my mom........

I imagine that it does. I don't like jobs that don't give raises. Fortunately i don't have that problem. Do anything to the car over the winter? I'm guessing not.

/resurrects
how are you all. How's your cars?? Not too long here and we'll be able to sneak out every few days.
currently, Im looking at parts to build my a cheap engine to hold me over a year or two so i can jsut have fun.
looking at LT4 hotcam kit (i have the tool to make it work on L98 heads)
home ported/polished L98 heads unless i can find a set of AFRs
Dyno Dons exhaust with magnaflow cat and hooker catback
FIRST intake
custom CAI
full tune/timing chain/gasket match etc.
and maybe a tune from Justin if you do not mind
I also have some nearly new 3.73s that i got for my birthday, but i am starting to reconsider and I may be looking for a good set of the higher spline 3.42s. I got all that torque after all, why not lug that engine down and use it!

Haha. He's going to be doing alot of tuning this spring/summer. At least i hope he is.

Things have been quiet around here lately. Took mine to work today. Have to wash off 5 months of dust. I'm going to try and get the suspension work done this weekend.

Yay!! Dad found a new rear-end today. Still gotta check it out, but its a 92' Disc rear out of a Z28. Gotta see if it has the 3.23s or 3.42s, but regardless we are going to check it out asap. One of his buddies got it layin around.
And, any of you need anything from the junkyard? Plan on going this weekend to the one place that has good 3rd gens.

I should have just upped the shot, cam and heads and been happy with a possible high 9 car

Re: PIttsburgh
Its not the motivation Im having trouble with its finding the time. Im going to school, working 40+ hours a week to be able to afford this build but working the 40+ hours leaves little time to do actual work to it lol.
Right now Im still having issues with my truck. Put a new tranny in on Friday night and it was smoked by Saturday night w/ the 3/4 clutches gone. God I hate 700r4s. Reason it happened was probably a combination of the tranny having unknown miles, and the kickdown cable wasnt adjusted just right. Pulled the tranny back out last night, and will be getting another from Jarvis tonight, hopefully can get it in tonight too. If I could just find a 205 Transfer Case I could use a TH350..
Thats the end of my rant lol.
Hopefully I can get all of this sorted out and get back to the cars. On a side note the L69 in the Purple Trans Am runs...not great yet..but it runs.
Pretty soon Ill be able to drop the 400 SBC into the Blue Trans Am.

It's always worth it in the end.
Here's maybe some motivation for ya guys. I was wondering if you all (you 2 in specific justin, stippy) would be interested in cruising up to the Good Guy Nationals this year. It's July 10th through 12th over in Ohio I believe. I know that our cars are too new to be in, But i still plan on cruising over and just parking in the nearby lots. It'll give me a good chance to make sure everything is working, and break in the new parts alittle bit. Maybe it'd do the same for you. Just kickin that idea around.

Re: PIttsburgh
i pray that my car is ready to drive with turbos in june. Thats assuming i get my motor on time and that I get everything built by then (which i should) and the biggest thing is assuming i can learn GMC cyclone/typhooon tuning by then and it all goes smooth. I wont have a base bin to work with really... so it should be fun.

I enjoy them. I was all set to be there on the first. Wonder how many people will be there anyway. At least the irwin cruise starts up in april. I'll have to get out there as often as i can. Might have some people i know from the wexford cruise out there a few times.

Yeah just waiting on the motor mainly. Its gonna be awhile for that. He's ordering stuff monday to start it. I figure atleast a month before its done.
Atleast i'll have the final layout for the turbos done by then. Start fitting the hood around them
I may go fiberglass tho

Personally i'd make the one you have work. I think it could look cool with some scoops in there. The glass one was ok, but not my favorite. Just my 2 cents.

it will be a glasstek style 2.5" cowl or 4" cowl with enough space for the turbo compressor housing to stick out thru. I dont think i'm gonna be able to do my original idea as the filters sit way high

That wouldn't be bad. I thought you were talking about that other one.
It's a few months away, but so far i've got 6-7 people with 4-5 cars headed to the woodward cruise in august. I'm trying to get as many as possible. I'll probably be going up on thursday and staying til sunday. A few will be coming up on Friday. If anyone is interested let me know.

aww sad to see it go, but thats a sweet bike. There are rollers available i'm sure. JJ's has a 06 LS2 6spd GTO for 8500. Wrecked front end just needs hood/bump/fenders. 37K miles. Not a bad deal.

I'll think about that one. I wanted a cowl tho since my stock hood still rubs the hsr. would the louvers on the iroc fit that?

Re: PIttsburgh
No they wouldn't if i know what he is talking about. They are indented "functional" hoods that somewhat look like they have louvers, but definitely do not and can not. And i am not sure, but without seeing one my guess is that it would hinder clearance more than help.
/bounces off to check the turbo build. Did i see something about heads??

Oh, and for anyone who cares about my more personal side, been up in detroit all weekend and have decided to go to Kettering University for school. (used to be GMI). And i saw a 2010 Camaro (several times) while i was there

i'll get pics up soon if i can
edit: also, just alittle favor to ask of you all. Could you keep an eye out for a passenger side 85-90 ground effect? the one on the irocs? Some where along the line mine got a crack in the bottom, and although you cannot see it on the car, i want to do it right the first time. Wish i knew how it got damaged though...
