Good to hear from you Stippy. Its been a while. I was wondering how the car was doing. We should all meet up someday. Another guy at work bought a thirdgen. That makes 3 at work. I'll add an ls1 car someday. Too many projects right now. As usual.
Deadman, the s10 looks good. Kind of how i would like to do mine. I would like to build a turbo motor for the bird and put the tpi in the s10 but, since i haven't won the lottery yet, it'll have to wait.lol Looking good though. Looks fun to drive.

I think Wexford Starlite starts may 28th..
Also, we could have our own meet somewhere.. lets actually make it happen this year.

With the changes in my living situation i don't think there will be any turbos, cams, or ls1's in the near future. Someday.
I'll be at wexford on the 28th. We should all meet up sometime. One of these years we'll make it happen.
GO PENS!!!!!!!

I'm in for having a meet somewhere. I know this Sunday is the Flashlight Drags out at Waynesburg Airport. Maybe we could even have a meet at a Sonic or Jerry's Curb Service.

hey June 13th is my birthday! That'd be a sweet present to go out there. I really wanna see your car Orr. I was checking out your Fquick page yesterday, I love the stance with the 18/19s and the pro kit. I'm seriously considering doing something similar. (then I can install the C6 Z06 brakes)

Re: PIttsburgh
Yup..that never happened haha. Jerk.
Well the 00' TA ran a few 11 sec passes a few weeks ago. Did a best of 11.93 and has a little more left in it as it sits, but Im not done with it haha. For now its strictly a daily and Im doing a build up on my truck. The TA will be getting some new stuff soon enough, and hopefully back to the track a good many times before the season is over. Next season the goal will be 11.7s.
As for the 86' itll get done eventually. Im thinking about building the bottom end to handle nitrous. So that when I do take it to the track it wont be slower than my DD lol.

none of us are really shining examples of reliability here haha. I've been to Irwin once, without my car, and I said I was gonna make it out more often.

PACE (Pittsburgh Area Camaro Enthuises) is from Cranberry (Butler Co.)
If you Camaro owners like cruises, the one at old Wexford Starlite drive-in (now a church) on Rt 19 is every Friday night 4pm - 9pm which averages 2,000 - 3,000 cars each week. They sponser a different goup of cars each week. It doesn't have to be Camaro night to go. Great food, dj's and excellent parking. I go couple times a year.
Although, I am getting sick of the do-ops.

Re: PIttsburgh
I'm doing a 2.8/5speed swap from a junk 89 camaro into my 87 with no engine. If anyone close to pittsburgh would be willing to help, I could throw some money your way.
Or I know someone with a 305 out of a third gen firebird I could get for cheap as well.

Hey all yinz Burghers.....Hope the Holidays and New Year have been good to everybody. Posting this to see if anybody out there needs a perfectly good windshield. I have one left over from a restoration. Am willing to donate it to someone who needs it, and can pick it up in the Ambridge area. Shoot me a PM if you're interested, really don't have a good place to store it. This is a good thread...keep it rolling

Re: PIttsburgh
Hey Pittsburghers! I'm puttin mine back together and I'm looking for some ideas for my doorpanels. I've kept my interior somewhat stock, as-in it has all the seats etc., but due to my cage I cant use the factory arm rests. I can make new panels, but I am looking for some pictures and ideas on how to recover. My interior is gray and black. Any suggestions or where to find pics is greatly appreciated. I saw the ones someone made with the flames under the fabric.............yeah i'm not that talented.

Re: PIttsburgh
Yeah, last time I looked it was still wrapped in a blanket standing up in the corner of the body shop. If you can make it down to the Ambridge area to pick it up, it's all yours. I'm afraid if i don't move it pretty soon its gonna get broken. Be a shame to waste it if somebody needs one.

anyone in the area need a performance built 700r4 tranny? About 20-25K miles on it..only 1600 of it has been serious abuse from a 400whp 383 and 3 bottles of nitrous for about 520whp? Runs like a champ before it was pulled.

i think wexford brings the big scene...every now and then Norwin/Irwin shopping center has a good weekend showing. usually 100 cars+ or so show up, sometimes only a few dozen. Thats on saturdays
