Noobie here....Need Pricing Insight on 87 GTA....
Whats up fellas...long time passionate F-Body here!! I just joined and want to say this is a great site with alot of info. (Not really sure if this is the correct place to post this) I am located in Westchester County, NY and am in the market for a GTA. 
I absolutly loved them since I was a little kid!
I need some insight. I can not figure out what the going prices are for GTA's. I found one that I really like and am intrested in purchasing.
Here is a little info on the GTA:
87 GTA
125k miles
2nd owner
Clean carfax
Mint!
White with Grey Cloth
T-Tops
Digital Dash
(Authentic Y84 SPI Label)
What price do I offer this gentlemen???
Any help or info would be greatly appreciated!

What is the engine? 350 TPI? 305 TPI (were GTAs available with the 305?)
If a 305...is it stick or auto?
Literally mint? Great paint, clean interior, clean engine bay, runs well, drives well?
With that mileage, we are looking under $5k for sure. Neighborhood for me would be in the $4k range, if truly mint, maybe even less depending on the answers to some of the questions posed above.

Auto 700R Tranny
Spectacular Paint
Very Clean Interior & exterior! No corrosion on the rims. No rust. Not driven during the winter months.
Engine is very clean. No oil leaks.
I have not driven it yet, but will soon.
Would $4500 be fair?

$4500 doesn't sound out of line to me if the car is that clean and you find that it runs and drives well.
It's hard to pinpoint a price...thirdgens have not become sought after yet, so they can be had relatively cheaply. But, for a car that clean with the 350TPI, I'd say $4500 is in the right ballpark.

Well thats what I am going to offer so I guess we will see!!Any specific things to look out for or can/will cause an issue in the future?
