hey,

i go to trinity college in hartford. which hotel are you in? its not the CCI builing is it? we have kids living in there right next to the aetna building. anyways welcome to ct, hartford doesn't show the best sides of conn. but the rest of the state is pretty nice. anyways we've got a pretty good local group going with a bunch of guys with third-gens in the local hartford area. post up in the ct third-gen meet and thread in this forum.

Re: New to CT

Camarothatcould, let me be another to say welcome. CT isn't that bad really...you just have to drive 30 minutes in ANY direction to find better. I'm in Enfield (about 20 miles north) of you. There is a decent bone yard here and TPIHearse is a really good resource for parts but prices are more retail than boneyard. There is PLENTY to do in your 10minute radius for anyone under 21 and INFINITE things to do if over. I grew up in Eastern CT and left in 94 only to come back 12 years later. FYI, there is a swap meet (auto, tools, etc) next weekend in Thompson, CT if your intersted. There are a few people including myself who will be going to check it out. I'm heading over on Saturday if that means anything to anyone. Also check out the https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/nort...=1#post3508388 thread. This thread was started like back in July and ended up being the catlyst for a CT/MA thirdgen club.

Re: New to CT

Hi Camarothatcould: If you're looking for good stuff cheap, I might be able to help you. There's one great junkyard up here in the Springfield, Mass area., Chicopee actually, near I-91. I was just there early Sat morn.in the pouring rain. He just got in an '83 Firebird TA that has no interior and a great body, the remnants of a convert. Camaro, a Red 87? Camaro TBI with A/C delete and some red interior parts, and several other Camaros (mid 80's).
Hey, I like your job, how do I become an inspector?...LMFAO!

Nick: He crushed up the 91-92 Camaro.
