... this one's a keeper, at least for the summer, anyways lol. Yeah, the front end was thrown on by the former owner, but the RPO code states Iroc-Z (B4Z). Engine is definitely not stock, turned out to be a 400 Chevy. Gonna yank that out soon in favor for the 454. Can't wait to get both the cowl hood and notchback painted and bolted on!

Re: New Project For July 5th Fella's.... :D

^ I wish you lived near me to see what I had/have to deal with. The car came with a 400 Chevy, which is fine. Also came with a Edelbrock RPM Performer, Holley 600 electric choke, MSD ignition system, and wrapped Hooker headers. I slowly peeled off that wrap, only to discover a cracked header flange (cracked is an understatement, I can literally fit my fist in it). Have no idea what cam is in there, and even after countless hours of tuning, she' still rumpity rump, so it's safe to assume it's pretty radical lol....

Gonna have the headers replaced with a spare Edelbrock set I had lying around, more additional tuning, and try to get a run in this Friday night. I haven't even looked at the tranny and/or rear yet (I'm actually hesitating now LOL), but I'm going to squirm my way under there tomorrow to see what's what. Ahhh, yet another fun adventure in the used F-Body game. Former owner went hogwild with the wiring to, but that's another story, one that would take quite awhile to explain....

July 5th is our F-Body cruise night....

^ The 454 won't be ready by then unfortunately, and if I can't swap cams out of the 400 that is already in the engine bay, I'll be forced to take the LS1 (the one that's in there is too damn radical). Either way I'll be there (no wives, right lol?)....

^ I'm dying to see those rims w/tires out back in person, they look freaking unreal from the pics, very very nice! Even if the car is in the shop, definitely try to make it over either way Phil. By the way, any guesstimates as to what your TA runs in the 1/4....?

No idea. the tires are probably not the best for drag racing, but assuming it can hook up and not break anything, low 12's at least, 11's maybe/hopefully once i figure it out. The 5 speed it slowing it down a bit im sure.
With 501hp/520ft/lbs to the flywheel it does a good job of getting out of its own way, and I did find it pretty much dead even with a 470 rwhp 05 GTO automatic.
