Does anyone know a place that takes engine/tranny cores for $$?
I have an 86 block and and tranny laying around that needs to be gone.
Would prefer somewhere close to NYC and picks up.

Any recycling plant should take them, I got a few heads that will be going there soon.

I called around. The recyclers I called ask you to bring the stuff in. Problem is I don't have a truck to take the crap there.
We don't have an advanced near by, but I'll try the local autozone.
If anything, I'll take apart the block and tranny further and take it in pieces.
